Brown leafed vertigo

Halloween is on Friday. I love Halloween, I wish that we made a big deal about it in this country. I love walking home from work in the cold and seeing the trick’or’treaters and jack-o’-lanterns on peoples doorsteps whilst blasting some Misfits on my iPod. Last year I decided to go out to Satans for Halloween, it sucked. I usually just sit in and watch ‘good’ horror films, I’ll be doing that this year. The Shining, Halloween, Pet Cemetery, The Omen, Evil Dead. Good horror films are SO rare. I’m looking forward to just kickin’ back, eating crap and scaring myself shitless, plus, it’s on a Friday. BONUS! A great start to the weekend. Bonfire Night and Xmas soon!

Awesome!

Yob culture

My little sister was in college yesterday, she told me that these two scallies started fighting in front of a big crowd outside the front of the South Trafford entrance. She told me that this one chav was laying into the other one, he absolutely battered this guy, then when he was lying on the floor the chav stood over this guy and shouted *in a manc scally accent*….

‘Pay your debts you little tramp!’

Hilarious!

The Old Man and the Lisa

This episode of The Simpsons was on Sky1 last night, it is one of my all time favourite episodes, and it is absolutely hilarious! Mr. Burns becomes bankrupt and asks Lisa to help him become rich again. There is a scene is this episode that sees Mr Burns grocery shopping before being committed to a mental institution, I was in pain with laughter, I actually thought that I was going to choke and die whilst watching it.

Mr Burns is probably my favorite character and this episode is nothing short of genius.

Homecoming

I arrived back in Manchester on Friday after spending a month away from home. I feel really refreshed; it’s good to be back home in the presence of my friends and family.

I really miss Australia like crazy! I’ve even bought a jar of ‘Vegemite’ from Tesco, I’ve been eating it on toast and listening to The Veronicas, it’s a good way to start your day (trust me, it really is!). I’m back in work this morning, it kinda sucks, but I just need to save up some more money now so that I can go back to Oz in the near future. I’d love to live there, I really want to get a visa sorted so that I can work there on a trial basis for a few moths or so.

Overall, I seem to have a more positive outlook on my situation back home in the U.K. I really needed this holiday, its done wonders. I’ve had a lot of time to think and value what is really important in my life, so I’ll will be working hard and keeping a positive attitude.

Good fucking times!
